The Skill Center is a UAW-GM joint program created in the 1990 national contract. The founding principle for development of your Local Skill Center was to provide basic educational opportunities in a safe environment that can be easily accessed by employees and retirees as well  their spouses.

Your Lansing Delta Township Skill Center is now open for service and offers a wide variety of learning opportunities including: structured classes, one-on-one instruction, self-paced study, computer assisted learning and an open computer learning lab. Striving to keep pace with evolving technology and your ever changing world the Skill Center welcomes your suggestions and comments. Your Skill Center is here to support your needs.

Your Skill Center also maintains a library with free check out of books, audio tape and videos. The library has the same hours of operation as the Skill Center.
